KUSH MIRELES EXPANDS SECOND SERVE'S OUTREACH TO A LOCAL SCHOOL
Regional President Kush Mireles started up a branch of Second Serve in his high school this year. The club already has around 30 members and keeps growing. Kush has rallied those around him into Second Serve’s mission and as a result has collected an outstanding amount of equipment.
In the fall of 2022, the high school in Houston collected 162 pieces of equipment, including 50 rackets. Just recently, Kush and his team counted the amount of equipment for 2023, and they came out with 118 pieces already! All of these rackets have been donated to the Houston Tennis Association. One of the most recent events they held was a school drive after spring break.
Kush does so much for Second Serve and we are so thankful to have him on our amazing team! We always encourage our team members to host events for Second Serve locally, and it is an honor to have Kush represent Second Serve in his new club.
